The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

November is here! In my book, that means it’s fair game to start decorating for Christmas!  And with that, comes Christmas cards!  We haven’t had our family pictures done yet, so I haven’t picked mine, but I’m so excited about the designs that minted has this year! 

I went through to start trying to narrow down my favorites and had quite a few!  I thought I’d share just a few of them with y’all!

This one made me smile… this would be adorable with a bit of an “outtake” picture  

A lot of my favorites look similar, because I LOVE this whimsical, hand-written look…

(You’d probably want to pick a picture or a card shape that didn’t cut off the tops of your heads, but I love that shape in the one above!)

There are so many personalizing options, too!  That makes it so much easier to make your card unique and match with the style of your photo!

This is one of my absolute favorites – with just the right picture it would be adorable!

Also, if photo cards aren’t your thing, they have a lot of gorgeous designs without photos! I just love this one…

And I love the simplicity of this one…

Both of those cards are also foil-pressed. I love that look – elegant and unique!

I could seriously keep going on and on with more “favorites” but I’ll let you just go look for yourself!  Have you ordered yours yet? Which ones are your favorite? I know it can be a big undertaking to send out a lot of cards, but it’s truly one of my favorite things to receive cards from loved ones near and far!

Pumpkins, Fair Rides and Elsa’s! Oh My!

October is always a busy month for us and this year was no different.  Here’s a quick photo recap of what we were up to in October…

My parents, Katie and Parker came up for a long weekend so we could go to the State Fair.  This was the first year for the girls to actually ride the rides and they (mainly Hadley) had a blast!

We had some friends over for trick-or-treating this year and the girls had a blast.  We weren’t sure what Harper would think but she jumped right in there with the big kids saying “tik-teeeeeeet!” and “hap weeeeen!” (trick or treat and happy halloween in case you don’t speak toddler.)  This first picture below cracks me up – Harper can spot an airplane in the sky before anyone!

Hadley is obsessed with lollipops this year – as evidenced by this first picture.

Hard to believe October has come and gone! Bring on the holidays!!

Well that was a long break…

So since the last time I posted it was about my sister’s baby shower, we’ve had a lot happen in a few short months!

Parker arrived on July 17th and is as precious as can be! Hadley and I went down by ourselves while they were in the hospital and she was a super proud little cousin!

The rest of our summer was filled with swim lessons, ballet lessons, bike riding, and play dates with friends.

In August, Hadley got a fresh new hair cut for a new school year!

Harper also had her 18 month well check – healthy, growing girl at 34” and 27lbs!

We had a fun visit with mimi and grandpa (and enjoyed some delicious Uncle Julios)

Hadley graduated into the next level at her swim school and earned a ribbon for their “jump, turn, swim” for being able to jump in the water, turn around and swim to the side and get out on her own!

Then we all took a trip down to Austin so Uncle Matt and Harper could finally meet sweet little Parker!

September:

Hadley started a new school year (pre-k 3)

Hadley started the fall session of her ballet lessons and is still loving it!

And October has already  been crazy busy so I’ll save that for a separate post!
